Welcome to the public website for the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network (PFDN).

The PFDN is a network of doctors, nurses, and researchers from across the United States. The network was formed in 2001 to do research to improve the care and daily lives of women with pelvic organ prolapse and bladder and bowel control problems.

The funding for this work comes from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). The NICHD is a branch of the National Institutes of Health.
